What you want to remember together
A final prompt turns a beautiful day into a practice you keep.
When the music fades, the flowers are packed away, and the last guests board their cabs into the cool autumn night, what remains is the commitment you made to each other in the presence of those you love.
Before collapsing into sleep, take ten minutes together in private. Sit down, kick off your shoes, hold hands, and write down five vivid memories from the day while they are raw and fresh: the look in your partner’s eyes during vows, a hilarious remark during a toast, or the warmth of your grandmother’s embrace.
Those handwritten words, written in the golden afterglow of the celebration, will remain your most cherished souvenir for the rest of your lives.
